Welcome to our Federation

We are a Federation of two Nursery Schools, Ann Bernadt and Nell Gwynn. Our Nursery Schools are in a Hard Federation with a shared governing body. We are currently in formal talks to join a Soft Federation with the River Peck Federation which consists of two Primary Schools named Bellenden and Pilgrim’s Way. Gregory Doey is the Interim Executive Head since the start of the Autumn Term.

Our Nursery Schools offer the best possible start in life to your child. Some of our staff work at both schools, and others, just the one. Regardless of change we remain constant in our endeavours to provide high quality learning experiences which promote a love of learning.

We share the same curriculum approach and believe that children learn best when they have the opportunity to follow their interests and develop their learning through play. Our teaching staff support your child’s interests and move their learning forward. We are focused on the unique child, so our teaching approach is centred on each child’s individuality.

We are very inclusive schools; our users share 28 languages. We are very supportive and experienced in supporting children with additional needs. We believe that the outside area is just an important learning arena as inside. Children have room to run, climb, explore, discover, take risks, all under the watchful eyes of our highly trained and professional staff.

We have children where not only their parents attended, but their grandparents too! We are proud to have been a part of this community for so long and we look forward to each new generation of enquiring minds as they join us on this transformative learning journey.
